- Pale gold. A waxy nose with subtle, cream-covered, pineapple. The nose slowly evolves a faint butterscotch edge. The density and balance when coupled with the acidity is rather good. It's not entirely subtle but there is more than a hint of refinement. There's even a lingering creamy edge to the nut-infused finish.
- Balanced, elegant, focused, and very clearly representative of our estate’s terroir. The color is a beautiful mix of garnet and ruby. Aromatically dynamic, floral notes with bright red fruit and spice fill the bouquet and palate. It is a mix of roses and violets with red hills earth, white pepper, red currant, cassis, light vanilla, pomegranate and warm cherry pie. On the palate, the texture is layered and complex, and the finish is quite long with well integrated tannins that will round in time.
- Laurène is an essay in balance. Its color is both brilliant red and deep ruby. The nose has the spice character of 2011 - anise, clove & tea – with further notes of baked fig, rhubarb and pomegranate. On the palate, the texture is both light & viscous, with mouth coating tannins, and flavors of spice & ripe raspberries with a touch of tartness. The exceptionally long finish leaves you with sweet, lush fruit & wonderfully bright layers. While intensely woven now, a couple years of cellaring, or decanting, will reveal silk, elegance and an expressive depth of texture. Enjoy now, and over the next 8-10 years.
- Aromatically, there are discreet pear flavors combined with a touch of fresh almonds and mint. The palate is finely balanced with a wonderful round texture and excellent length.
- This wine is beautifully built around a given texture with somptieux tannins. Ample body with rich in aromas of cherry. A superb presence wine.
- Brightly bold and scarlet colored this wine is defined by its black fruit and cherry aromas with truffle and leather undertones.
- White Monthelie is a close cousin of Mersault. The wine is dressed with beautiful gold highlights, it evokes soft vanilla accents, Hawthorne flowers and has flavors of apple and fresh hazelnut. Mellow on the mouth with a perfect balance of acidity .
- Racy Vouvray, with green almond, quince and mineral notes, and a bright, lengthy finish. Nicely done.
- "Vendanges Tardives" are late-harvest wines where the grapes are left longer on the vine to concentrate their full potential. These over-ripe grapes produce rich, full-bodied, delicious wines. They can be drunk independently to celebrate a special occasion or are the perfect accompaniment to exotic dishes and foie-gras.
