At this stage of development, most of its character is in a long, long finish - a good sign for the future of the wine! - Lots of sweet open fruit on the palate, heading towards black cherries, lifted with minerality and acidity on the back end. Full bodied. Maybe slightly reductive. Big stuff, impressive on the taste.

The balance among the fruit, acidity, tannin and alcohol is spot-on, without blowing away the more subtle complexity of the old vine fruit.

- Sula Shiraz has a deep purple core and a full body with soft, ripe and rounded tannins. It has medium intense aromas of red fruits, cinnamon, blackberries, cacao and spice. This wine is richly structured with lively jammy flavors of red fruits and herbs mixed with pepper and hints of vanilla spice. It finishes in a long length.
