In the glass this Merlot shows deep dark ruby. On the nose it offers black cherry, Santa Rosa plum, with a hint of chocolate. On the palate it shows off concentrated cherry and plum flavors, rich mouth-feel and well-integrated tannins. - On the nose Artisan Pinot Noir shows off nice Oriental Spice with highlights of Maraschino and dark cherries followed by plum, strawberries, mocha, vanilla and sandalwood. On the palate the finish is firm and spicy with the underlying minerality, also has more acidity and less oak than past efforts.
- Palette Reserve is produced using the best vineyards available to our winemakers. Like brush mixed colors, grapes are crafted to produce wine of distinct character. This Pinot noir is a lovely cherry stain red, it is juicy refreshing with light tannins and light cranberry notes.
- Smooth and spicy, this Zin offers a lovely integration of blackberry, toasty oak, raspberry and a touch of blueberry.
- Palette Reserve is produced using the best vineyards available to our winemakers. Like brush mixed colors, grapes are crafted to produce wine of distinct character. Lingering raspberries, white pepper and spice pair beautifully with your favorite meats and tomato sauces.
- A lovely blend of Merlot, Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon, Lake Country Syrah, Lodi Zinfandel, and Dry Creek Valley Carignane. Soft supple and red fruit forward with hints of oak.
- In the glass Artisan Cabernet Sauvignon shows an intense ruby red. On the nose it offers up aromas of plum and black cherry & classic underlying cedar background. On the palate it shows extraordinarily smooth texture. The ample acidity is nicely integrated with just a trace of tannin and a wisp of oak, and carries the fruit through to a rich finish.
- Palette Reserve is produced using the best vineyards available to our winemakers. Like brush mixed colors, grapes are crafted to produce wine of distinct character. This mountain grown Cabernet Sauvignon is complex with vanilla and currant wrapped in dark cherry, chocolate and oak. The long finish perfectly compliments red meats.
- The name was coined in 1988 by a group of vintners who sought to establish standards of identification for a category of American blended wines made with traditional Bordeaux grape varieties. The name Meritage (a compound of the words merit and heritage) was chosen from over 6,000 entries in an international contest held by these vintners. The purpose of The Meritage Association is to help identify quality American wine blends that, because they're not made with at least 75 percent of a single variety, can't use the variety name on the label.
- Dark red cherries, plums, spices, leather and menthol are laced together in a racy, textured Cabernet Sauvignon that puts finesse ahead of power. Gently spiced overtones reappear on the exquisite finish.
- This wonderful everyday Chianti is made entirely from the Sangiovese grape. It is an easy drinking wine with lovely notes deep cherries with a hint of almond on the nose. A core of ripe fruit flavors, lots of pretty bright berry, floral and violet aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with some fine tannins and a refreshing finish.
- The fruit for Rock and a Hard Place was originally sourced from a Vineyard in East Santa Barbara County, which was extremely rocky and unbelievably hard to get to, hence the name.
- A Paso Robles sourced GSM blend. This wine showcases some of the best vineyards on the westside of Paso Robles and is always Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre.
- Refreshing scents of white flowers and honeysuckle proceed the first sip preparing your tastebuds for a slightly effervescent feeling that leads into flavors of fresh peaches and minerality balanced with the perfect amount of sweetness.
- The wine possesses a deep black garnet color and a powerhouse nose of black plum, blackberry and black cherry fruits, with floral elements of lavender, candy mint and violets, followed up by notes of black pepper, tarry creosote, cola berry, blood orange and dried cranberry. The dense, rich mouth is dominated by dark plum and blackberry fruit with flavors of Chinese Black tea, anise/black licorice, rose water, red grapefruit and warm crème brulee. The wine's long finish is dominated by fruit, spice and a long graphite and soil note. Great acidity and excellent tannin provide the perfect structure for the biggest Right Hand Man to date!
- Elegant and smoothly textured red fruit with bright acidity and long tannins with a lingering long finish.
- Cellar Besllum's opaque purple-colored 2008 Xabec is a blend of 50% Carinena and 50% Garnacha aged in new French oak for 14 months. Aromas of pain grille, mineral, lavender, black cherry, black plum, and licorice inform the nose of this already complex, concentrated Montsant. Savory, ripe, and succulent, it has enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years.
- It displays a very ripe nose of black plums, prunes and dates intermixed with notes of graphite and dark chocolate, in a supple palate with marked acidity, abundant dusty tannins and good length.
- Head Honcho is the most well known Syrah in the Barrel 27 portfolio. Comprised of some of the best vineyards in Santa Barbara County, this wine always lives up to its name.
- Bull by the Horns is our most unique blend. Syrah, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon make this wine one of the most full bodied in our portfolio.
- This rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from some of the best vineyards on the Central Coast.
