The smoky oak is prevalent but does not dominate allowing the fruit to express itself. Elegant raspberry and cherry flavors on the palate with a nice structural balance of acids, tannins and oak combined with malolactic richness.
- Bright, pale straw-yellow color with slight green hues, very pale on rim. The bouquet is fresh, tightly concentrated and penetrating with an amalgam of pungent passion fruit and gooseberry aromas, lifted with subtle tropical fruit elements. - The Verdejo is crystal clear, and pale straw in color. The nose is fresh and aromatic, with delicate hints of pear and white peach, flower blossom, beeswax and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is light and dry, with a surprising concentration of soft appley fruit, a crisp finish and a slight prickle that refreshes on a hot day.
