This Estate Chardonnay has aromas of fresh white nectarines and notes of vanilla. Bright fruit flavors are followed by a touch of cream soda. They are complemented a rich, round mouth feel and lingering tropical flavors. The finish is balanced with good acidity and is sure to please! - This stainless steel fermented and aged Sauvignon Blanc displays tangerine, pineapple, and slight grapefruit aromas. It has a crisp, tropical entry with a lush mid-palate followed by a crisp apple, citrus finish. This is a patio pleaser!
- The wine features a bright cherry-red color and aromas of kirsch, strawberry, raspberry, and violet. Light-bodied on the tongue, the boisterous fruit-character engages the senses in a playful way. The harmony of red flavors decrescendos into a soft, dry finish. A far cry from some of the dark, brooding, and powerful California Grenaches, this wine celebrates a lighter style and is well-suited for any wine-drinking occasion.
- Classic Clarksburg Chenin Blanc characteristics: vibrant fruit aromas take over the glass with abundant melon and tropical notes and a voluptuous texture that coats the entire mouth. The brilliant, savory acidity excites the senses only to wipe clean, resulting in a lengthy finish leaving the taster begging for another sip.
- This Cabernet is grown in a tiny vineyard located in a cooler neighborhood of Paso known as the Templeton-Gap area. It has been a great delight to find a premium source of Cab right here in Paso. The style is very much ours; bold and fruity....and simultaneously this Cab is gorgeous, elegant and food-worthy as well.
- The Foothill Cabernet is brimming with concentrated stone fruit, ripe plumbs, a hint of eucalyptus and faint leather notes. The Tanner Vineyard is located in Murphy's, CA which has some of the most rich, red, volcanic soils within the state. Their mountainous vineyard has the steep slopes that we so covet because it is all of these details that create the magic of this wine and make it simply incomparable to anything else.
- This is an elegant Cabernet that is very approachable now. The tannins are seductively soft and finish with a luxuriously smooth mouthfeel. The nose is bursting with a multitude of layers comprised of herbs, blackberries and vanilla. You will also discover nuances of cinnamon, light oak, brown sugar and a sultry earthiness. This vintage has an impressive intensity that you can easily enjoy now or cellar well into the future if you prefer.
- We love Grenache for it's uber versatility. It is a beautiful, feminine wine with a silky texture. The full, mouth-coating, and lingering palate presence make it a huge favorite with our staff and tasting room visitors alike. We personally fell in love with this varietal during a trip to Australia, and came straight home and planted some ourselves. This is an extremely easy-going companion to just about every cuisine type and a must-have-on-hand-in-the-cellar kind of wine!
- Aromas of black licorice, ripe cherries and mocha mark the entry of our single vineyard Cab. It coats your mouth with juicy blackberries, followed by firm round balanced tannins. A hint of sandalwood & chocolate covered berries are part of the long smooth finish.
- Opens with aromas of plum and blackberry, followed by flavors of dark fruit, espresso bean and cocoa. French oak aging leads to textured tannins and a long luscious finish.
- Brutacao's single vineyard Pinot Noir, which is grown in the warm days and foggy evenings of the Anderson Valley, opens with aromas of cherry cola, red berries, cloves and spice. Bright raspberry and strawberry flavors lead into lush toasted oak and a long finish of milk chocolate dipped strawberries.
- This Primitivo opens with inviting peppery aromas, followed by bright fruit and spice overtones, along with a nice bead of acidity throughout. A good pizza and lasagna wine.
- The triumph of Italian wine varietals championed in this Estate blend of Sangiovese, Primitivo, Barbera and Dolcetto offers a portrait of aromas and flavors that have resonated throughout the Mediterranean for centuries.
- Aromatics of ripe raspberry and spice are followed by flavors of dark cherry, cinnamon & earth. Black pepper notes in the mid-palate are followed by velvety chocolate with just a touch of oak. Balanced tannins will allow this wine to age beautifully.
- With aromas of pineapple, pear and papaya, this wine has a rich caramel entry leading to a lush mid-palate of pear and pineapple. The long lingering finish is a delightful blend of citrus and butterscotch.
- An exceptionally priced Sauvignon Blanc from estate-grown fruit, Brutocao’s Feliz Vineyard offers pronounced aromatics, all honeysuckle and apricot. Floral, savory, even slightly salty, the fruit that will stand out most here is honeydew melon. The wine’s just-enough level of sweetness is reminiscent of nature’s best.
- This Petite Sirah has earned somewhat of a cult-like following. Those who have experienced this wine before are always the first back in line every spring to snatch up the new vintage. Proper words to describe this wine are elusive, but there are three that fit best....tall, dark and handsome.
- This Syrah displays a gorgeous inky-black hue intertwined with a full nose of ripe cherry, clove and rich blackberry cheesecake. The palate is composed of a light gaminess, toasted oats, violets, blackberry and vanilla.
- This wine displays bright fruit and crisp acidities all finishing with an light, creamy texture. The fruit is sourced from the breathtaking Solomon Hills area in Santa Maria Valley. With the Pacific coastline only a few miles away, the constant maritime influences the grapes to make this a most memorable bottle of Chardonnay.
- A full silky entry with sophisticated structure, wonderful concentration and playful texture peeking through. An engaging finish of fresh cherries, rich chocolate and spiced cake.
- Striking yet expansive, it develops over the palate with sophisticated creaminess and racy acidity. Captivating flavors of white peach, brioche and quince compote layered with exotic hints of vanilla and saffron, with an enigmatic, enduring finish.
