Deep rich, youthful, purple hues are evidenced in the glass with aromas that have pleasing intensity. Hints of cassis, raspberry, spice, and rhubarb are well integrated in the nose. From entry to finish this wine has an even, alluring presence on the palate with a nicely balanced medium body. The flavors follow the aromas with added nuances of red currants and oak nicely integrated with the vinous fruit and a moderately lingering finish augmented by a touch of chili pepper - A Young Merlot was taken by Hollywood glamour photographer Bruno Bernard, in 1949 at the Palm Springs Racquet Club, with Norma Jeane playfully posing on a diving board above shimmering water the color of her bathing suit. It was during this photo shoot that she was introduced to the Hollywood agent Johnny Hyde, who secured a role for her in The Asphalt Jungle, leading to her fame as Marilyn Monroe.
- There is good intensity of aromas with notes of citrus, passion fruit and hints of anise and thyme. The aromas carry through to similar flavors on the palate with an added touch of melon. This wine has good acidity and roundness on the palate with a pleasing crisp, refreshing finish.
- Aromas of cherries, raspberries and violets which marry well with the new French oak and a creamy malolactic subtleness. The smoky oak is prevalent but does not dominate allowing the fruit to express itself. Elegant raspberry and cherry flavors on the palate with a nice structural balance of acids, tannins and oak combined with malolactic richness.
- Bright, pale straw-yellow color with slight green hues, very pale on rim. The bouquet is fresh, tightly concentrated and penetrating with an amalgam of pungent passion fruit and gooseberry aromas, lifted with subtle tropical fruit elements. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, tight and intense flavors of passion fruit are entwined with layers of herbs and minerals. The mouthfeel is rounded with fine textures and soft acidity, but showing good depth and density of fruit weight. The flavors are rich and pungent, revealing a lusciousness and juiciness, balanced and enlivened by lacy acidity on the finish. This is an intensely rich, lush and pungent Sauvignon Blanc with a soft mouthfeel and lacy acidity. Serve with vegetables and salads, and with Mediterranean fare over the next 2 years

- Chateau Bélair-Monange (Saint-Émilion) 2007: Sweet fruit, vanilla cream, attractive summer pudding character on the nose. A supple flesh on the palate, quite nicely balanced, softly styled with a gentle composition. Quite firm underneath though. A good presence of clean fruit at the finish, where there is a little more tannin evident.
- Exuberant aromas of plums, tomatoes and nutmeg, with a firm, understated structure of fruit and tannins. Elegant style.
- This wine is rich and dense with lots of excellent black fruit, with power and balance in harmony. The property is close to perfection where everything is present but the concentration of tannins can taste gene.
- "Ample, rich, almost over-ripe nose. Medium body. Good grip. Lovely black fruit. This is a lovely, seductive wine. Very good for a bourgeois Pomerol."
- An attractive straw color with hints of green on the rim. Clean and brilliant. It is very expressive and very harmonious on the nose. Fine notes of green apples, pear and lemony aromas. Accompanied by hints of basil and flower blossoms. Seductive and exotic palate of pineapple and mango intermingled with refreshing citrus flavors amplified by minerally accents. Silky but yet fully bodied, with a long lingering finish.
- Composed of 50% Tempranillo and 50% Grenache, this aromatic, fruit forward red displays fresh, clean notes of cherry and raspberry on the nose and palate.
