The smoky oak is prevalent but does not dominate allowing the fruit to express itself. Elegant raspberry and cherry flavors on the palate with a nice structural balance of acids, tannins and oak combined with malolactic richness.

The round, bright entry frames flavors of dark cherry, plum, black raspberry and traces of pomegranate that merge with sarsaparilla and toasty oak notes that contribute a chocolate essence as the finish lingers. Well balanced with integrated acidity and supple tannins, this Pinot has a purity that enhances its appeal. Try pairing it with braised lamb in a pomegranate sauce, or paella infused with chicken, sausage and seafood.

The opulent entry presents balanced, delicious flavors of brambly berry, plum and dried strawberry. Mid-palate mocha, subtle cake spices and black licorice appear, enhancing the fruit as the flavors merge and linger. Buoyant acidity and a thread of oak create the gentle yet solid structure that cradles the luscious flavors.
- This Cabernet presents a complex, profound nose with spicy flourishes of cinnamon, clove, cocoa and red fruits. It is a vibrant, fresh wine with a long finish and tannins that come together to produce a smooth, beautiful, harmonious flavor.

- The skills of our viticulturist, Xavier Choné, and our blenders, Jacques and Eric Boissenot, are clearly apparent in this balanced and elegant blend. The spices, black fruit and smooth texture of the Carménère, the principal component of the blend, are complemented by the extraordinary finesse and length on the palate by the Cabernet Franc. Viola is 85% Carménère, 15% Cabernet Franc.

- The Tannat grape has been transformed by the Uruguayan environment to become the country’s prominent variety. Marichal winemaking methods produce a Tannat without any wood or oak treatment resulting in a Tannat that is uniquely approachable with softer, velvety tannins and aromas of blackberries and dark fruit. The wine is a direct expression of its terroir and the climate where it thrives.
- Bold, oaky aromas of coconut, cola and mocha come with a blackberry backing. Vibrancy and hard tannins push the palate, which brings chocolaty flavors, spice and mocha along with core berry. Licorice, toast and other black flavors drive an oaky, hard finish.
- This is filled with intense black and blue fruits, nearly overripe but always stepping away from that precipice. The power of the fruit is matched by the intensity of the oak, but everything coheres and finds balance. The finish is lengthy, with vanilla, black fruits, and some racy red fruits as well. - This Merlot is made from a blend of the finest blocks of our bench land vineyards. Soft and supple with flavors of black berries and plum.
- Deep ruby in color, this Bordeaux style blend offers aromas of Cherry, Santa Rosa plum, black currant, with floral and spice notes.
- Rich berry aromas, with notes of vanilla and plum complement the concentrated flavors of blueberry and plum.
- This soft and delicate wine is made from some of the finest grapes in Italy where the soil is rich and the growing climate is favorable. This great wine can be served with beef or as an aperitif.
- The Tinta de Toro varietal is a clone of the Tempranillo varietal, but it has a thicker skin, lower acidity, and deeper blue-black color. Tinta de Toro produces bolder colored red wines compared to Tempranillo, with powerful tannins.
- This lesser known varietal is planted extensively in southern France. Although it doesn’t usually take a leading role, there’s star power in Meli’s Carignan with just 10% Cabernet Sauvignon blended in for depth and character. Aged in both used oak barrels and stainless steel, this wine is concentrated and unique, with an distinctive balance of earth and fruit. 2,000 cases produced.
