Both aromatically and on the palate, the wine displays a symphony of bright red fruits led by cherries and raspberries. These engaging aromas are surrounded by hints of sage, lavender, caramel, sandalwood, resin, black olive and the dusty savory herbs one comes to expect from our layered Cabernets. The wine enters the palate sweet and round, lingers on the finish with creamy fine-grained tannins. - The wine of kings and the king of wine. Refined, yet rugged; the wine offers wonderful cherry fruit and balancing acid while giving you the rustic complexity of freshly crushed herbs.
- This Cabernet is grown in a tiny vineyard located in a cooler neighborhood of Paso known as the Templeton-Gap area. It has been a great delight to find a premium source of Cab right here in Paso. The style is very much ours; bold and fruity....and simultaneously this Cab is gorgeous, elegant and food-worthy as well.
- The Foothill Cabernet is brimming with concentrated stone fruit, ripe plumbs, a hint of eucalyptus and faint leather notes. The Tanner Vineyard is located in Murphy's, CA which has some of the most rich, red, volcanic soils within the state. Their mountainous vineyard has the steep slopes that we so covet because it is all of these details that create the magic of this wine and make it simply incomparable to anything else.
- This is an elegant Cabernet that is very approachable now. The tannins are seductively soft and finish with a luxuriously smooth mouthfeel. The nose is bursting with a multitude of layers comprised of herbs, blackberries and vanilla. You will also discover nuances of cinnamon, light oak, brown sugar and a sultry earthiness. This vintage has an impressive intensity that you can easily enjoy now or cellar well into the future if you prefer.
- Aromas of black licorice, ripe cherries and mocha mark the entry of our single vineyard Cab. It coats your mouth with juicy blackberries, followed by firm round balanced tannins. A hint of sandalwood & chocolate covered berries are part of the long smooth finish.
- ‘Ardente’ is of a deep, ruby red color with purple hues. It has a sharp, intensely fruity aroma, with pleasant hints of red pepper and liquorice.
- This rich, velvety wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Carménère and 5% Petit Verdot. The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from a block located at the foothills of the Andes at an altitude of 500 meters–one of the highest in altitude and closest in proximity to the Andes in the Colchagua Valley. The soil is deep, alluvial and well drained because of the stony and gravelly composition. The Carménère and Petit Verdot come from the Maquis estate in the central part of Colchagua Valley. Twenty percent of the blend was aged for 9 months in third-use French oak barrels while the rest remains in stainless steel tanks.
- A noble wine whose berry-fragrance and flavor is a famous mixture of currants and cassis. It ages beautifully in our new French oak barrels, in that ancient tradition interplay of time and tannin, to a deep, clear taste between medium and full-bodied that can only be described as classic Cabernet.
- The Celani Family Vineyard's prestige wine Ardore is a Cabernet Sauvignon, matured in fine French oak barrels where the lees are allowed to settle to the bottom as the wine is filtered naturally by its own weight, and is never stripped of any of its fragrance and flavor. The grapes used to create Ardore come from the most respected farms in the Napa Valley.
- Beautifully expressive on the nose, notes of cocoa, cedar wood and cassis. Classic Pauillac palate, rich, muscular structure.
- A stunning plum purple color with juicy, rich aromas of blackberry, plum and a hint of cinnamon, with a delicious richness with mellow tannins, blackberry and a hint of dark chocolate.
- A great wine, full-bodied, fresh and round. Rich and nice expression with notes of dark fruit and toasted oak in the finish. Undertone of eucalyptus, resin, astringent, too sharp, good fruity notes, good balance.
- A Great wine with classic Margaux characteristics of violet perfume, spice, and fresh cherries. With soft, ripe and complex tannins .
- Lively ruby in appearance, Château Saintongey 2010 shows a delicate nose of ripe red fruits. Plump cherries and a touch of oak integrate with balanced tannins and end on a strong finish.
- Dense red accompanied by the scent or plums, ripe cherries, leather and smoke. In the mouth this wine shows concentration and weight. Flavors of cherry cola plums, cinnamon and dark chocolate coat your mouth as the tannins take hold and add dimensions and structure to the wine. This wine shows good balance in the long finish .
- The Invisible Man is very much Jennie Cimicky’s label - regarded with quite a degree of derision, and actual disbelief and disgust by the man himself who will naturally not be available to discuss the wine or travel the world to promote it. The wines must, as usual speak for themselves and to that end the Cimicky's have decided that only Estate fruit will be used so that we can completely guarantee the quality from their patch of ground to the bottle. Consequently the Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon hail from their original plantings of 1973. The release of the label also coincides with their 40th Anniversary.
- Purple, black color, scents of black currants in promising nose, sweet Cabernet fruit on nose, flavors of Seville orange and intense Cabernet fruit flavors, cranberry sweetness .
- Supple and fresh, this red offers cherry, wild berry, herb, mineral and smoky flavors, with light, firm tannins and lively acidity. Energetic and graceful.
- Aged 22 months in 75% new French oak (Taransaud, Orion, and Sylvain), this blend is comprised of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Petit Verdot.
- The dark nearly opaque color has lifted and high tone aromas of baked currants and dark cherry compote, followed by subtle vanilla-toffee oak spices and lavender like floral tones. The palate is full throttle and massively structured offering a layering of fine grained tannins and density. Flavors of anise and espresso bean followed baked cassis and blackberry finish on the palate with a long persistent finish.
