This is dry, earthy and complex on the nose, with smooth tannins, elegance and acidic lift to the palate. Flavors of fine oak, copious spice and complex berry are more than satisfying, while the finish is long, dry and composed, featuring a note of cinnamon. - This light to medium-bodied, dry, fresh, aromatic Pedro Romero Manzanilla “Aurora” Sherry is a terrific example of a crisp yet flavorful dry sherry that would work well with Japanese sushi or Spain’s delicious black ham. The entire range of sherries from Pedro Romero are well made at a great price that merit serious consumer interest.
- Pours slightly hazed yellow into a tumbler. Dusty apple and barnyard aromas. Soft with funky yeast and dry apple upfront turning to spicy leather in the medium length finish.
- Cellar Besllum's opaque purple-colored 2008 Xabec is a blend of 50% Carinena and 50% Garnacha aged in new French oak for 14 months. Aromas of pain grille, mineral, lavender, black cherry, black plum, and licorice inform the nose of this already complex, concentrated Montsant. Savory, ripe, and succulent, it has enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years.
- It displays a very ripe nose of black plums, prunes and dates intermixed with notes of graphite and dark chocolate, in a supple palate with marked acidity, abundant dusty tannins and good length.
- Pale yellow color. Strong bouquet of citrus, green apple, and passion fruit. Round and zesty mouthfeel with citrus, grapefruit, and green herb flavors. Smooth and elegant on the palate with intense lemon / lime and pear skin flavors. Similar to Pinot Grigio but with more body and more acidity.
- Pale light gold color. Light citrus, orchard fruit, and floral aromas. Elegant mouthfeel. Orange, pear, anise, and slight apple flavors. Long, soft finish with some minerality.
- This wine with a great personality has been produced entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon variety grapes grown on a limestone-rich terroir blessed with its own microclimate. After a thorough maceration, it undergoes 24 months of aging in new French oak barrels.
- Pago Negralada comes from a Plot of Tempranillo, the noblest Spanish grape variety. The vines are planted in deep gravel soils intermixed with sand at the surface, and produce wines with a distinctive firm, tannic character.
- An indicative blend of Tempranillo and Mazuelo, full of strawberry, cherry and prune flavors with notes of chocolate and leather. Followed by soft supple tannis.
- The aromatics on the Pintia are very intense with lifted wild strawberry, raspberry, mulberry fruit interlaced by dried herbs and just a mention of cigar box. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins that are in synch with the tobacco-tinged red fruit. This has very good structure and symmetry, while the finish displays fine tension and a long, spicy aftertaste.
- This wine is composed of 90% Hondarrabi Zuri and 10% Hondarabbi Beltza. The grapes are unique to the the Bask region and are not grown anywhere else in the world. Zundukarai is lovely, crisp and acidic and light in body . Historical in the Basque region fishermen found that many traditional wines could not survive the long time required for a voyage at sea. Txakoli became the wine of choice because its high acidity gave it a much longer shelf life .
- Produced from a selection of the best grapes from each of our vineyards, it combines the richness of a Tempranillo and the elegance of a Cabernet Sauvignon with the roundness of a Syrah and a Merlot.
- A profound crimson color with orange rims. Accompanied by notes of animal fur on the nose and petrol, along with sweet dried candies and fruit. Accompanied by a lovely dry mouthfeel.
- This wine offers up an exceptionally fragrant and complex bouquet of wood smoke, pencil lead, exotic spices, incense, lavender, and blackberry. On the palate it displays impressive volume, a smooth texture, layered flavors, and a lengthy, seamless finish. This impressive effort will continue to blossom for several more years and provide much pleasure.
- A very beautiful pomegranate red with intense violet tones. On the nose one picks up a high concentration of mature red fruits such as, raspberry along with toffee. Great mouthfeel a very balanced wine .
- Dense ruby purple in color. This Ambiguous Vinedos has a rich aromatic nose with hints of minerals, blackberries, spice and licorice. This wine has a fabulous concentration and it is plentiful. All the nuances from the nose expand in the palate and bring a full flavor experience from the Tempranillo grapes. The ripe tannins from the grapes blend with the barrel and adds complexity to the wine. Bright cherry flavors with hints of raspberry, vibrant acidity this all provides excellent balance and structure, the finish is full and persistent.
- The tempranillo grapes used for this wine are unique to the region of Tinta de el Pais. They are hand picked from vines planted by the original family in 1920. Fresh with a great aromatic potential accompanied with woodsy oak notes.
- Lively and vivacious cherry red on the glass. The olfactory phase consists of fine aromas of toasted wood on a fond of mature fruit and red earth. Full on the mouth with almost a meaty mouthfeel. Full of fruit, lovely rounded tannins accompanied by a creamy finish of chocolate . Pairs excellently with red meats and cheeses .
- Supple and fresh, this red offers cherry, wild berry, herb, mineral and smoky flavors, with light, firm tannins and lively acidity. Energetic and graceful.
- Clos Mogador is adorned with a deep dark ruby color. In the first instance it presents on the nose animal scents, then it releases notes of fermentation, and finally develops a superb fruitiness. On the palate, we also find this intense fruitiness with great breadth! The tannins are starting to "become velvety": weakly astringent on the finish, they are perfectly integrated. A beautiful wine, full of promises but still evolving. Therefore, it is necessary to decant it for a few hours before serving!
