Sourced primarily from Biale’s estate vineyards in the Oak Knoll district. Round, plush, a gentle grip of perfectly ripe tannins, a spectrum of red and dark fruits – raspberries, cherries, blackberries, watermelon, bright vivid aromas, fine-grained texture, star anise, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, black and white pepper, cocoa, subtle nuanced oak. Age worthy, compelling, decadent: a beautifully proportioned Napa Valley Zinfandel. If cellared well, this wine will continue to improve for the next 3-5 years.

"No component dominates and all work seamlessly together in an unctuous package. An interplay of textures and flavors, with stunning aromas of blackberry, dark fruits, dried fruit, black cherry, red fruits such as strawberries, spices, flowers, minerals, graphite, roasted herbs, baked dark bread and chocolate ganache are integrated and proportioned across a foundation of perfect mouth feel, cohesive acidity, and unctuous fruit.

Bright candied cranberry, raspberry and cappuccino aromas jump from the glass, followed by flavors of strawberry, white pepper, blackberry bramble, sweet anise and a lingering candy pucker.
