Bull by the Horns is our most unique blend. Syrah, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon make this wine one of the most full bodied in our portfolio. - Pago Negralada comes from a Plot of Tempranillo, the noblest Spanish grape variety. The vines are planted in deep gravel soils intermixed with sand at the surface, and produce wines with a distinctive firm, tannic character.
- Produced from a selection of the best grapes from each of our vineyards, it combines the richness of a Tempranillo and the elegance of a Cabernet Sauvignon with the roundness of a Syrah and a Merlot.
- This wine offers up an exceptionally fragrant and complex bouquet of wood smoke, pencil lead, exotic spices, incense, lavender, and blackberry. On the palate it displays impressive volume, a smooth texture, layered flavors, and a lengthy, seamless finish. This impressive effort will continue to blossom for several more years and provide much pleasure.
- An indicative blend of Tempranillo and Mazuelo, full of strawberry, cherry and prune flavors with notes of chocolate and leather. Followed by soft supple tannis.
- The aromatics on the Pintia are very intense with lifted wild strawberry, raspberry, mulberry fruit interlaced by dried herbs and just a mention of cigar box. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins that are in synch with the tobacco-tinged red fruit. This has very good structure and symmetry, while the finish displays fine tension and a long, spicy aftertaste.
- A very beautiful pomegranate red with intense violet tones. On the nose one picks up a high concentration of mature red fruits such as, raspberry along with toffee. Great mouthfeel a very balanced wine .
- Dense ruby purple in color. This Ambiguous Vinedos has a rich aromatic nose with hints of minerals, blackberries, spice and licorice. This wine has a fabulous concentration and it is plentiful. All the nuances from the nose expand in the palate and bring a full flavor experience from the Tempranillo grapes. The ripe tannins from the grapes blend with the barrel and adds complexity to the wine. Bright cherry flavors with hints of raspberry, vibrant acidity this all provides excellent balance and structure, the finish is full and persistent.
- The tempranillo grapes used for this wine are unique to the region of Tinta de el Pais. They are hand picked from vines planted by the original family in 1920. Fresh with a great aromatic potential accompanied with woodsy oak notes.
- Lively and vivacious cherry red on the glass. The olfactory phase consists of fine aromas of toasted wood on a fond of mature fruit and red earth. Full on the mouth with almost a meaty mouthfeel. Full of fruit, lovely rounded tannins accompanied by a creamy finish of chocolate . Pairs excellently with red meats and cheeses .
- A youthful purple red that densely coats the glass. Greatly aromatic with mineral notes of stone and red fruit, cassis, mint, eucalyptus, slight white pepper. It is complex on the mouth with a long fruity finish.
- A clean ruby red, medium of body, followed by the smell of ripe red fruits and intense vanillas. Ample on the mouth, tasty with round sensations, balance and a well lasting finish.
- A little brown around the edges from the age with hints of amber. Aromas of raisins, dried cherries and apricots on the nose accompanied by vanilla notes from the oak. Tastes like dry red fruit on the palate with a great balance of strong tannins and decent acidity.
- Intense dark cherry color, with a top layer of color. Attractive aromas of berries, like blackberries, black currant, raspberry, all is joined together with the spices aromas from its ageing in the barrel. Its a complex wine very attractive on the palate, elegant with fine tannins.
- Cherry stain red with purple ribbons. Great intensity on the nose as it smells of noble wood, ripe black fruits such as black berries and cassis, malted chocolate, black pepper and notes of balsamic. Shows a great equilibrium on the palate and has a long lasting finish.
- Garnet Red with notes of cherry . Shows great complexity on the nose with a great equilibrium between the regal fruit and the subtle notes of coffee, and balsamic . Smooth on the palate rounding itself out with personality presenting a smooth but strong tannin . This results in an elegant wine that pairs well with meats.
- Firm and a bit austere, this red shows depth and drive, with chewy tannins supporting plum, tobacco, licorice and mineral flavors. The structure is solid but the wine remains fresh. Maturing now, this has a long life ahead.
- Bright, saturated ruby. Exotic, highly aromatic bouquet of black fruits, cherry compote, incense and licorice. Sappy and expansive, offering deeply pitched, spicy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors, silky texture and ripe, harmonious tannins. A floral quality builds on the long, very sweet finish, which strongly repeats the cherry and spice flavors.
- The style of the wine is certainly not traditional Rioja after trials, they decided against American oak but the style is not modern alto expression either. Perhaps the term Neo-Classical is most apt, with complex mineral-infused fruit and discreet oak influences, underpinned by a fine but firm structure. These are definitely fine wines in the grand European tradition, and sure to generate serious media, trade and consumer interest.
- Macan Classico is the second wine in the Bordeaux sense, even though the name might be rather confusing and some people might think this is the superior cuvee. It's clearly a more accessible wine than its sibling, and that's intentional. Bright ruby-colored, with some red fruit and lactic notes complemented by licorice, spices, smoke, coffee, vanilla, balsamic, smoked meat, sweet fruit, and chocolate. Elegant and harmonious, it is medium-bodied with balanced acidity and good length. It's quite approachable and pleasant to drink with some fine tannins.
- Bold, oaky aromas of coconut, cola and mocha come with a blackberry backing. Vibrancy and hard tannins push the palate, which brings chocolaty flavors, spice and mocha along with core berry. Licorice, toast and other black flavors drive an oaky, hard finish.
