This Southern Rhône-style blend has dark fruit and floral aromas and rich, black cherry flavors with herbal and mineral notes. Enjoy with robust preparations such as pork roast, cassoulêt, or braised rabbit. - Lovely floral, blueberry and black fruit aromatics jumps from the glass of this dark purple-colored wine. Firmly structured with plenty of tannin, it possesses a nice underbelly of flesh that comes across as pure, full-bodied, and complex after additional bottle age. There appears to be a lot going on with this cuvee and should last 15+ years.
- Seduction in a glass. Richly concentrated, juicy and dense with woodland berries, ripe dark cherry, bergamot and fig, handsomely accentuated by nuances of warm spice and molten dark chocolate. Supple and beautifully complex with stunning depth creating perfect harmony between both texture and flavor all the while offering a lengthy, generous, decadent finish.
- This shows clear and bright red fruits such as raspberries and blueberries with hints of vanilla. Full body, fine tannins and a bright finish. A blend of Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
- Ruby-red. Exotically perfumed nose features vibrant cherry and dark berry scents complicated by black olive, tobacco and smoky herbs. Tactile dark fruit preserve flavors display impressive depth and sweetness, with suave tannins adding grip. Spiciness builds on the long, juicy finish, which shuts down quickly.
- The grapes undergo a tremendous amount of triage (sorting) both in the vineyard and in the cellar. They were crushed using a Demoissey destemmer / crusher and were inoculated and punched down immediately to get relatively warm fermentations. We wanted to bring out as much of the natural earth and spice flavors that the berries contained. The total fermentation time was 12 days the resultant wine went directly to barrel and was aged 22 months before being bottled unrefined and unfiltered.
- Bright red. Lovely, floral-dominated scents suggest fresh red berries, kirsch and Asian spices, with sexy rose and magnolia adding complexity; seems to expand in the glass while maintaining focus. Silky and packed with sweet red fruit flavors, picking up floral pastille and bitter chocolate character with air. A very grown-up style of Syrah that finishes with superb clarity and persistence.
- Bright ruby color with aromas of fruit and oak. In the mouth it is soft and harmonious with cherry and plum flavors and a subtle oak finish.
- A Paso Robles sourced GSM blend. This wine showcases some of the best vineyards on the westside of Paso Robles and is always Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre.
- The wine possesses a deep black garnet color and a powerhouse nose of black plum, blackberry and black cherry fruits, with floral elements of lavender, candy mint and violets, followed up by notes of black pepper, tarry creosote, cola berry, blood orange and dried cranberry. The dense, rich mouth is dominated by dark plum and blackberry fruit with flavors of Chinese Black tea, anise/black licorice, rose water, red grapefruit and warm crème brulee. The wine's long finish is dominated by fruit, spice and a long graphite and soil note. Great acidity and excellent tannin provide the perfect structure for the biggest Right Hand Man to date!
- Head Honcho is the most well known Syrah in the Barrel 27 portfolio. Comprised of some of the best vineyards in Santa Barbara County, this wine always lives up to its name.
- Bull by the Horns is our most unique blend. Syrah, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon make this wine one of the most full bodied in our portfolio.
- This rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from some of the best vineyards on the Central Coast.
- It displays a very ripe nose of black plums, prunes and dates intermixed with notes of graphite and dark chocolate, in a supple palate with marked acidity, abundant dusty tannins and good length.
- Our perennial “pizza/pasta wine” takes an Italian twist with Sangiovese, Barbera, and Primitivo joining the Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. It has a nose of raspberry and honeysuckle, followed by a round mouth feel bursting with fresh cherries and hints of spice. This wine finishes with integrated tannins and good acidity to make it the perfect food match.
- The wine features a bright cherry-red color and aromas of kirsch, strawberry, raspberry, and violet. Light-bodied on the tongue, the boisterous fruit-character engages the senses in a playful way. The harmony of red flavors decrescendos into a soft, dry finish. A far cry from some of the dark, brooding, and powerful California Grenaches, this wine celebrates a lighter style and is well-suited for any wine-drinking occasion.
- It is a very strong ruby color with tawny hues. The nose offers a frank expression of developing toasted notes, it is also floral and spicy. The mouth is full and persistent with a nice balance around the volume velvety sensation and aromatic maturity.
- An intense garnet with tawny and purple tints. The scent is varied and floral with a mineral Nature. On the palate it unfolds with burnt notes of smoky bacon and cherry.
- Washington State Syrah has it going on. The Boomtown Syrah has classic notes of blueberry, juicy black raspberry along with subtle hints of herbs de Provence. To sum it up; new world fruit meets old world complexity.
- This Syrah displays a gorgeous inky-black hue intertwined with a full nose of ripe cherry, clove and rich blackberry cheesecake. The palate is composed of a light gaminess, toasted oats, violets, blackberry and vanilla.
