Bold, oaky aromas of coconut, cola and mocha come with a blackberry backing. Vibrancy and hard tannins push the palate, which brings chocolaty flavors, spice and mocha along with core berry. Licorice, toast and other black flavors drive an oaky, hard finish. - This is filled with intense black and blue fruits, nearly overripe but always stepping away from that precipice. The power of the fruit is matched by the intensity of the oak, but everything coheres and finds balance. The finish is lengthy, with vanilla, black fruits, and some racy red fruits as well.
