The dense, dark raspberry color of this versatile wine opens up to a nose flooded with strawberries, a little plum and a hint of evergreen. Plums, strawberries, and oak, are richly layered and nicely balanced with a soft, long fruit and oak finish. This soft and rich blend is fruity enough for sipping as an aperitif, yet bold enough to accompany cheeses, pasta and many red meats. This is a really enjoyable, flavorful red wine for many occasions. - This Merlot boasts bright flavors of cherry sorbet with just the right amount of spice.
