This is subtle and refined with ripe berry, dark chocolate and spice character. Full body, with fine tannins and a pretty flavorful finish. - This loaded effort displays obvious (but well-integrated) oak, soaring aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, and exotic spices, full body, and a plush, velvety palate feel.
- Very attractive aromas of blueberries, wet earth and black licorice. Full body, with a dense palate that shows lots of ripe berry, cocoa and coffee undertones.
- This Cabernet Sauvignon shows notes of ripe red fruits, licorice, pencil lead, and a hint of mint. It is complex with good grip in the mouth and has a long finish.
- Outstanding aromas and flavors of citrus, key lime, and minerals. Very complex with excellent depth and clarity. Steely and fresh. 12 months fine lees aging.
- This is a Karakuchi sake, which means it is dry. This elegant sake has citrus and almond aromas with a silky mouthfeel. It is best served chilled or at room temperature. Manotsuru Crane Karakuchi goes well with a wide range of food; try it with your favorite chicken dish!
- The red crane is a symbol of good luck. This is a Junmai sake, which means it is pure rice sake (no alcohol was added). An elegant sake with notes of stone fruit, pistachios, and white chocolate. Please drink this sake chilled or at room temperature. A great all-around sake, it goes well with a wide range of foods.
- This is an Onikoroshi ("Demon Slayer") sake, which means it is very dry. Medium-bodied sake with tantalizing fruit flavors and a pleasant nuttiness on the mid-palate. Hints of mineral on the very dry finish. Best served slightly chilled and is wonderful with all types of meat.
- This is a Nama-chozo sake, which means it is left un-pasteurized until the bottling stage; this adds zestiness to the mouthfeel. Refreshing aromas of bananas and tropical fruit. The finish offers hints of licorice and white pepper over stone-driven mineral notes. Best served chilled. Bulzai "hits the mark" with a wide range of appetizers and fish dishes.
- This is a Nigori sake, which means it was unfiltered and has more rice particles; this creates a cloudy sake with a distinctive sweet taste. Tropical notes of starfruit and guava hit the palate with a refreshing burst of flavor along with anise and melon flavors. A creamy and spicy finish. Shake before serving chilled. The label is inspired by the Sado Island Noh poet Zeami.
- This Daiginjo is a rich, full-flavored sake with hints of tropical fruits and a silky mouthfeel with excellent acidity. Best served chilled to enjoy the elegance. It goes well with a wide range of foods, including light meat. This sake was named in honor of our brewery's founder, Yososaku Obata, who founded the brewery in 1892.
- This perennial gold medal winning Daiginjo has clean and fresh aromas, with notes of anise. Peppery on the palate with juicy ripe melon and good acidity and length. Best served mildly cool. It goes well with rich dishes such as cream sauce as well as with a wide range of appetizers and fish dishes, including whitefish and fresh oysters.
- It has a nose of ripe fruit, violets, aniseed, fine tannins, good balance and length. This is very good value.
- Exhibits a restrained nose with balsamic notes, black fruit, some peat (soil) and smoke. The medium-bodied palate is quite fresh with fine tannins, delineated flavors and a balsamic aftertaste. A great Malbec at a super price.
- The latest Pinot Noir releases from this young bodega confirm its promise as one of the best producers in Patagonia. This Chañar-sourced red is silky, sweet and well balanced, with red cherry fruit complemented by texture from old oak ageing.
- The name tells you what you need to know about the iron-rich soils, but not about the corresponding structure of the wine. Dense and concentrated, this is like a mini-Pommard in some respects, with muscular tannins, a touch of reduction and rich, flavorsome fruit. A label to watch if you’re a Pinot-phile.

This is a silky and delicate wine with wonderful depth of fruit and aromas of black fruits, black pepper, tangerine skin and even flint. Superbly refined tannins deliver a sexy texture plus a bright and minerality finish. - Black Tears is ripe and handsome, with almost everything in its perfect place. It’s a hard-driving wine with blackberry, vanilla and coconut aromas and flavors in front of a chewy, tannin-rich finish with the mildest note of raisin.
- Exudes a bit of the South American soil/earth aroma on the nose, with floral notes, violets. In the mouth, this wine is bursting at the seams with ripe red fruit, spicy cherry, strawberry, and red licorice; medium plus in body; strong solid finish with a touch of spice, vanilla and subtle oak.
