Since 1910 Hopf Helle's traditional Bavarian wheat beer is has been the Hophf Helle Weisse. With subtle flavors of banana and fruit that come from the special processing of a secret yeast culture, the smooth refreshing taste and the champagne like bubbles make this beer a great thirst quencher that goes extremely well with food. All of our beers are brewed according to the German Purity Law of strictly only five ingredients: wheat malt, barely malt, water (from the Alps), yeast and hops. - The Hopf Dunkle Weisse beer is the authentic dark wheat beer of the acclaimed premier wheat bear producer in the world, Weissbierbrauerei Hopf brewery. This unique brew is made only from dark malts which gives it the rich color and a surprising gentle on-the-palate. cocoa flavor with keen spice overtones. The Hopf family wheat beers are famous for their unique flavor and aroma which is derived from the brewery's own proprietary yeast and the way they compliment food and stimulate the appetite... All off the Hopf wheat beers are brewed according to the German Purity Law with just five ingredients : wheat malt, barely malt, water (from the Alps), yeast and hops.
- A beer for special times. For nearly 100 years the Hopf Brewery has brewed exceptional, award-winning wheat beer. From that long tradition emerges the extra-special Spezial Weisse beer with its red-golden color and effervescent quality. This full-flavored beer is made from our exclusive Caramel malts which give the Spezial a strength and fruitiness that goes down so smoothly. The Spezial is particularly compatible with fish and fowl.
- Hopf Weisser Bock is a traditionally strong wheat beer with a beautiful red and gold color. It is our richest tasting beer with a slightly sweeter finish and complexity that the sophisticated beer drinker finds irresistible. It tastes a little too good and it goes down a little too easily. So beware, you may be in for a bountiful of ecstatic indulgence. But you have to hurry for this special brew is only available in December and January.
- Out of 331 year's tradition comes the dark Export Dunkel, a rich, deep-red beer with malty aromas of chocolate, coffee, molasses and caramel. This dark red manna has a surprising guilt free lightness to it.
- Export Helle has an extra but unimposing amounts of hops and malts for a more concentrated lager without the high alcohol. Open tank fermentation, low temperatures and slow laagering over 8 weeks, makes for a very dense and austere beer with a perfect balance of hops and malts
- Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Light malt aroma. Malt and light caramel flavor with light citrus. Medium bodied. Light caramel and light citrus lingers.
- The Reutberger Brewery nun's patron saint is St. Joseph and to commemorate his sainthood they brew this seasonal Josefi Bock in his honor. The beautiful light red color is a product of the precise blending of 50% light and 50% dark malts . It takes 3-5 months of laagering to produce this perfect beer. A time well spent as attest by the slightly sweet taste perfectly balanced with a touch of bitterness. At 6.9% alcohol this strong beer is surprisingly easy to drink.
- This full-flavored special pils is decievingly pale in color but strong int alcohol while being a touch sweet to the palate. The mouth-watering bouquet comes from our exclusive use of Aroma Hops that don't sing the tongue. Our organically farmed Barke malt is the rarest and most expensive in the world .
- A robust special Lager with a slight scent of violent and rose buds and a touch of sweetness on the finiish. Pale gold in color but strong in alcohol, the Gold is perfect for special occassions. Our regular customers drink it daily, however, and consider it a true statement of our handmade quality
- Brewed with the finest Spalter and Hallertauer aroma hops by the Private Landbrauerei Schönram. It is lovely and gold in hue with light aromatics and a thin head.
- Golden in hue it has a nice foamy head, on the nose it is sweet, malty with a hint of grass. On the palate one can taste, malts, yeast, and sweet spices.
- This unique seasonal strong Bock beer is the first German beer brewed using a single strain of Halleurtau Hops named "Saphir." This beautiful copper colorred beer is both hoppy and fruity with a light mouth feel. A bt to easy to drink at 8% abv, so look out.
