In the nose, hints of apple wood smoke, rose petals, and berry pie are balanced by notes of toasted marshmallow, graham cracker, and cacao. Upon entry, the palate is a symphony of blueberry, ripe cherry, and hints of chestnut. The West Block demonstrates its sense of place with big, structured tannins that broaden the mouthfeel and accentuate the fruit.
