This Cabernet presents a complex, profound nose with spicy flourishes of cinnamon, clove, cocoa and red fruits. It is a vibrant, fresh wine with a long finish and tannins that come together to produce a smooth, beautiful, harmonious flavor. - With an expressive nose containing hints of laurel, spicy clove and a pleasant note of rosemary, this wine also exudes a layer of deep red fruits. On the palate, it’s fresh, with sweet tannins and a full-bodied flavor that ends in a lovely, lingering finish.
- The skills of our viticulturist, Xavier Choné, and our blenders, Jacques and Eric Boissenot, are clearly apparent in this balanced and elegant blend. The spices, black fruit and smooth texture of the Carménère, the principal component of the blend, are complemented by the extraordinary finesse and length on the palate by the Cabernet Franc. Viola is 85% Carménère, 15% Cabernet Franc.
- The distinctive 2010 Maquis Lien is made from a finely tuned blend of 50% Carménère, 35% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. It is a generous red wine that reflects the character of the Hurtado family’s special plot of land.
- The Tannat grape has been transformed by the Uruguayan environment to become the country’s prominent variety. Marichal winemaking methods produce a Tannat without any wood or oak treatment resulting in a Tannat that is uniquely approachable with softer, velvety tannins and aromas of blackberries and dark fruit. The wine is a direct expression of its terroir and the climate where it thrives.
- This lesser known varietal is planted extensively in southern France. Although it doesn’t usually take a leading role, there’s star power in Meli’s Carignan with just 10% Cabernet Sauvignon blended in for depth and character. Aged in both used oak barrels and stainless steel, this wine is concentrated and unique, with an distinctive balance of earth and fruit. 2,000 cases produced.
- Low yields and hand harvesting indicate the care given to the superior fruit from this single-vineyard winery located on the gravelly slopes of the Maipo Valley. These standards extend to the wine-making process, with meticulous grape selection and aging in French oak barrels for 12 months. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this is a complex and velvety wine with a soft structure, spicy tannins and a fruity finish.

- Bonarda is the second most planted grape variety in Argentina (after Malbec), and is thought to be the same grape as the Italian Charbono. The grape originally hails from Piedmont, and was brought to Argentina by immigrants. These grapes are grown on the Tupungato mountainside—one of the highest elevations in the Andes—where the days are warm and the nights cool. This Bonarda is unoaked, vibrant and full of fresh red fruits
- Ricardo Santos was the first winemaker to export this varietal from Argentina, and he began the process of making Malbec Argentina’s signature wine. This Malbec has fruity, aromatic characteristics of blackberry and ripe cherry. This first release has great volume and depth with a long finish, maintaining the soft tannins and easy drinkability of a classic Malbec.
- Italian immigrants introduced the Sangiovese grape to Argentina, and there is still a deep appreciation for Italian culture in this Latin American country. This deep red Sangiovese has great aromatic intensity of ripe strawberries and black currants. It has a good balance between fruit and acidity, making it ideal for Italian food featuring tomato sauces.
- Torrontés is a unique white grape almost exclusively grown in Argentina. This wine from Tercos is dry and refreshing with flavors of grapefruit, peach, apple, melon and pineapple.
