Intense color, complex aroma of red fruits (plum and black currant), hints of tobacco and leather. Elegant with ripe tannins but very obvious characteristic of the soil from which it derives. - Despite being a pure Sangiovese, this wine combines the longevity of the vine to its ready drinkability at a young age due to the cultivation of this noble grape variety on a ground which gives a looser more soft and silky tannins. The fruity, full of red berries, makes it suitable for prompt consumption.
- Dried berries and flowers on the nose follow through to a full body, with fine tannins and a fresh finish - outstanding. Give it a year or two to come together.
- This blend of Sangiovese and merlot comes from the famous and fertile land Feren'ca Mate vineyard. It is extremely aromatic and spicy, subtly releases notes of ripe fruit, anise and fresh rosemary. With a full and well built body, is silky on the palate, shows great structure and complexity .
- Mid ruby with orange tinges. Earthy cherry with hints of spice. Complex palate of sour cherry and notes of dried fruit with lovely tanginess and chewy tannins on the finish.
- Round and fleshy, offering raspberry, cherry and spice flavors, this red is firm and focused, with moderate tannins and acidity driving the spice- and savory-filled finish.
- Dark ruby in the glass with an intense aroma of freshly ground pepper and ripe blackberry; tones of flint, dark tobacco, myrtle, graphite and rosewood. On tasting - a warm, robust structure thanks to the alliance of tannins and alcohol, then slowly releasing notes of chocolate.
- Great structure, ample red fruit with sweet tannins. This is a soft, succulent and very classic wine.
- A brilliant ruby color introduces an array of aromas including vanilla, warm plum and blackberries. A symphony of cassis, huckleberries, brown spices, minerals and black cherries on the tongue. Smooth, inky, and rich. Great structure. Supple mouth feel with a good balance of ripe sweet fruit and acidity. Easy drinking with soft, even, smooth tannins. Aged in small oak barrels for 12 months, the total production of this wine is under 600 cases per year.
