    Enkidu Sauvignon Blanc

    Country: United States
    State: California
    Region: Sonoma
Kick Ranch Sauvignon Blanc is barrel fermented for texture and complexity, in a style reminiscent of Loire. The texture is bright and grainy, balanced with richness and creaminess from new oak and sur lie aging in 25% new French oak. As in previous vintages, the aromatics of spiced fruit are off the charts. I think of slightly ripened tropical fruit with coriander and mace, tinged with a little dried wild grass and green apple. The mouth feel is full with with integrated acid, contributing to an extremely long finish.

Mac got into food and wine during his early twenties via his friends and coworkers at Trader Joe's in Southern California. He soon began taking trips up to the Central Co+ast to just to taste, but quickly found himself volunteering his time on his days off to help out at a number of wineries. After learning the process for a few years and spending more and more time on the Central Coast, Mac was ready to start making wine for himself.
  • Poizin Zinfandel

    Poizin Zinfandel

    Country: United States
    State: California
    Region: Sonoma
Deep, dark garnet in color, the bright nose exhibits plums, raspberry and blackberries. The rich yet not overripe flavors of red-vine licorice, anise, spicy strawberry, and red currants are full-bodied and true to the varietal. The Petite Sirah in the blend contributes black pepper spice, racy acidity and firm structure, and gives this wine a rustic personality. The moderate oak contributes subtle vanilla and a smoky nuance..
  • Schug Pinot Noir

    Country: United States
    State: California
    Region: Sonoma
This 100% Pinot Noir cuvee is from grapes grown within the cool microclimate of the Sonoma Coast AVA, on select vineyards in the western portion of Carneros and the Petaluma Gap. The cool windy climate and low yield of these vineyards allow Pinot Noir grapes to mature slowly while retaining their natural acidity, with bright flavors of red cherries, raspberries and spice. Showcasing the elegant side of Pinot Noir by aging in large neutral oak casks and older French oak barrels to keep new oak flavors to a minimum. Lively acidity on the finish makes it an ideal accompaniment to grilled fish and fowl or barbecued meats.
