This 100% Viognier was produced in stainless steel barrels. It has a lovely straw-colored, honey hue and its aromatic intensity makes for wonderful pairing with spicy foods such as Thai or Indian cuisine in addition to chilled seafood. The fruit comes from Antoine Creek Vineyards in the Lake Chelan region. - This signature White Rhone Blend consists of Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne. Aged in stainless steel, the grapes come from select vineyards in Paso Robles and Santa Barbara County.
- It is an intense golden color with a slight tint of green. The nose offers a hearty expression of candied fruit surrounded by discrete spicy, floral and honey suckle notes.
- This blend offers aromas of honeysuckle, jasmine, nutmeg, ripe pears, lemon chiffon and breakfast melons. Flavors of Bartlett pears, ripe lemons, Fuji apples and honeydew melons are wrapped in a veil of subtle minerality and Asian spices. The bright, fresh fruit flavors are enhanced by a touch of sweetness and racy acidity.
- The 1753 Viognier exhibits a terrific bouquet of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, peaches, and tropical fruits. Medium-bodied and filled with fruit yet structured, with good underlying acidity to provide freshness and focus, it should be drunk over the next year.
- Bursting with Viognier character: apricots, peaches and preserved citrus fruit. The palate is both smooth and fresh, with hints of spice.
- Deliciously plump, with pear, peach and green fig notes bouncing along, lined with anise, chartreuse and melon rind accents. The long finish flows wonderfully.
- The marriage of flavors found in our white estate blend is a source of continuing entertainment for us. The vibrant floral Viognier component, the tropical fruits from our Sauvignon Blanc, or the classic green apple notes from our Mendocino Chardonnay. Therein lies the heart and soul of a well balanced blend, there is no preconceived notion of a particular flavor profile. Setting your senses free on an organoleptic scavenger hunt can be liberating.
- Terre Blanche is a white Rhone blend comprised of Roussanne and Viognier grapes grown on the Westside of Paso Robles in the acclaimed Denner Vineyard.
- This single vineyard Viognier comes exclusively from the Larner Vineyard in Santa Ynez Valley.
- Delicate floral, sweet apricot and juicy peach aromas and flavors are deliciously woven across a textured mid-palate that gives way to a long, graceful finish.
- Offers an exotic nose of citrus, pineapple, mango and peach, with light floral notes. Light, lively and very refreshing on the palate. Excellent on its own, with seafood (turbot, sole, or scallops) or spicy Asian cuisine.
- Fruity in the nose and dry on the palate, white peach guides the aromatics, followed by white grape, honeydew melon, pineapple, and a floral honeysuckle finish.
- A warm summer led to an early start to harvest, followed by a stretch of lower than average temperatures in late September that slowed ripening so grapes hung longer without sugars skyrocketing, providing balance, more flavor development and concentration. A long but successful harvest!
