Flavorful with rich aromas and distinctive notes of ripe tropical fruits, this wine can be enjoyed alone or paired with spicy and exotic cuisine, strong cheeses or desserts. - Pale-yellow color. Very enjoyable and typical bouquet with floral aromas (rose) and exotic fruit notes (pineapple, mango, litchi). Round and soft, well-balanced and without heaviness. Long and aromatic, with litchi and exotic fruits. Nice and clean freshness on the aftertaste. A nice stylish Gewürztraminer with enjoyable fruit.
- Delicate aromas of sweet peas and rose petals telegraph the floral qualities of the wine and lead into the peach and nectarine flavors that fan out across the palate with moderate intensity. Lingering flavors of Honeydew melon complement the lush texture of this dry wine and punctuate the refreshing finish.
- A blend of three Alsatian grape varieties, Pinot Blanc 56%, Riesling 31%, and Gewurztraminer 13%. The individual components were fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to retain the freshness and vibrancy that our unique alpine climate offers. The nose offers up apple blossoms and a hint of citrus while pears and a touch of stone fruits come through on the palate. The lively acidity keeps it focused and very food friendly, right through to its just-shy-of-dry finish.
- The Kolbenhof Gewürztraminer is characterized by sumptuous fruit. Deep golden yellow in color with green reflexes, on the nose it is reminiscent of ripe apricot and peach intermingled with exotic fruits such as lychee, mango and passion fruit. The fruit characteristics follow through on the palate; full-bodied, luscious but dry, the opulence cut by vibrant, firm acidity finishing elegant, dry and aromatic.
- The brilliant straw color invites comparison to other white wines, but the aroma and flavor dispel that notion.
- This Gewürztraminer represents the pinnacle of exotic aromatics in fine wine. It possesses flowers, tropical fruits, spices, lychee nuts and a whole slew of other wild scents. Fogarty ‘Gewurz’ has fragrant scents of rose petals, mandarin and ginger.
- A full-bodied, medium-dry white with a lovely aroma of roses, accompanied by flavors of ripe peach and litchi. Fruity on the front, this Gewürztraminer finishes a bit drier with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove.
