"A true delight and a great harmony! A beautiful purple color. On the nose, delicate and fruity aromas such as strawberry and red currant. On the palate, the tannins are refined and lend a nice roundness to the body. Elegant aftertaste". - "A delicious red Burgundy, with harmonious flavors. Bright ruby color. On the nose, intense aromas of wild cherry, liquorice and mild spices, evolving towards notes of undergrowth and mushroom. On the palate, excellent balance between tannin, acidity and "gras" (velvety texture). The aftertaste is reminiscent of little red berries".

- The name tells you what you need to know about the iron-rich soils, but not about the corresponding structure of the wine. Dense and concentrated, this is like a mini-Pommard in some respects, with muscular tannins, a touch of reduction and rich, flavorsome fruit. A label to watch if you’re a Pinot-phile.
- The latest Pinot Noir releases from this young bodega confirm its promise as one of the best producers in Patagonia. This Chañar-sourced red is silky, sweet and well balanced, with red cherry fruit complemented by texture from old oak ageing.
- Aromas of cherries, raspberries and violets which marry well with the new French oak and a creamy malolactic subtleness. The smoky oak is prevalent but does not dominate allowing the fruit to express itself. Elegant raspberry and cherry flavors on the palate with a nice structural balance of acids, tannins and oak combined with malolactic richness.
- Dark, intense aromas of plum and mixed berry mingle with traces of sassafras, smoky oak, earth and dried rose petals. The round, bright entry frames flavors of dark cherry, plum, black raspberry and traces of pomegranate that merge with sarsaparilla and toasty oak notes that contribute a chocolate essence as the finish lingers. Well balanced with integrated acidity and supple tannins, this Pinot has a purity that enhances its appeal. Try pairing it with braised lamb in a pomegranate sauce, or paella infused with chicken, sausage and seafood.
- Rich berry aromas, with notes of vanilla and plum complement the concentrated flavors of blueberry and plum.
- Due to the soils in the vineyard, the Estate Pinot Noirs’ elegant, transparent style is more Burgundian than Californian, emphasizing wild strawberry, earth, blueberry and dill varietal characters. Cellaring the wine from five to twelve years pays handsome rewards.
- Although a mere mile away from Mount Eden as the crow flies, the terroir here is different and it shows. Medium ruby color, complex, earthy red fruit nose, the wine has a suave texture on the palate with richness and balancing elegance. This is a classic Pinot Noir reflective of its unique peak.
- Medium ruby color; deep, complex, rich aromas of red cherry and cola with some nice earthy notes. Rich, ripe, bright red cherry flavors with earthy, cola notes; silky texture; good structure and balance with a lovely long finish. This is a rich and silky Pinot with bright fruit and nice length, delicious and perfect for grilled chicken.
- Deep ruby color opens to a very aromatic nose of black cherry, cola and toast. Sweet black cherries, cranberries carries through to a mid pallet that is very velvety with notes of minerals and toast. Well balanced with a very long complex and fruit driven finish. Pinot that is amazing to drink all by itself. Wow, this is really tasty.
- Medium-deep ruby color; intense red cherry and spicy aromas; ripe, bright red cherry flavors with layered spice notes; silky texture; sweet oak; good structure and balance; long finish. Intense and spicy Pinot with layers of great flavor.
- Dark garnet in color. Fresh an lively, with juicy wild berry, raspberry and loganberry. This is firm, structured and full-bodied, gaining velocity and depth. Ends with a pretty touch of baked berry pie and red and black licorice notes.
- Vivid medium red. High-pitched red berry and floral aromas are complemented by deeper notes of anise and black cardamom. Sappy and precise, with deep raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a sexy rose pastille quality. Fine-grained tannins add shape and grip to the long, spicy, energetic finish. I'd bet that this very well-balanced wine will reward at least another five years of aging
- Vivid ruby-red. Spicy red berries, herbs and Asian spices on the nose. Fresh and juicy, with energetic redcurrant and raspberry flavors underscored by smoky minerals. Shows impressive energy and structure, finishing clean and brisk, with slow-building tannins and lingering sweetness.
- Tannins, even at this stage of the games, are dense and give the wine a brooding sort of nature that belies the relative youth of the vines from which it comes. This bottling is going to have a serious sense of pizzazz. The fruit is wonderfully ripe without being out of balance at all. The tannins are large-scale in some instances but, again, they are perfectly within context of the fruit intensity and acidity of the wine. This is large-scale stuff but it is in no way any sort of fruit-bomb.
- Deep red. Intense blackberry and cherry aromas are complicated by notes of anise, sassafras and smoky minerals. Plush, expansive dark berry flavors show an attractive pliancy and pick up a touch of bitter cherry with air. Fine-grained tannins add shape and grip to a long, mineral-accented finish. This drinks very well now but has the depth to suggest patience will be repaid.
- Earthy character and more a tannic structure than their other Pinot noirs. It has a wonderful mingling of pure red cherries, raspberries, that particular Dundee Hill spice along with an earthy undertone that fills in the wine giving it great dimension without adding to the mass of the wine. This is a bit of a sexy beast of wine that will have power and swagger in its youth and evolve into something exotic and complex with bottle age.
