Its color is dark, ruby red. The wine has a light fragrance of red, ripe fruits, strawberries, and raspberries. To the palate it is a very fruity, full-bodied wine with soft tannins. - "A truly convivial wine. Owing to the careful blending of various terroirs, the result is a wine of great charm. It has a lovely raspberry color and a brilliant hue. The nose is both refined and intense, with notes of violet, peony and red fruit syrup. As you drink it, it feels fresh and silky. Both freshness and fruit remain for quite a long time on the palate".
- "An elegant Beaujolais: intense ruby-red color; on the nose, aromas of violet, lilac, sometimes blackberry and cranberry. Supple tannins, with lively acidity. On the palate, the wine leaves a pleasant note of wild berries".
- Great breed. Beautiful dark garnet color. Intense and elegant aromas, with notes of peony, tea rose and damson plum, often with nuances of liquorice. On the palate, beautiful structure, velvety texture (gras") and majesty. The aftertaste is long, refined and appetizing in a subdued way. The Cru of Beaujolais that is the closest in style to the Burgundies of the Côte d'Or".
- The Beaujolais-Villages Nouveau exhibits the same intense color but here the wines are a little fatter and the aromas are more reminiscent of fleshy, ripe cherries, loaded with sugar and sunshine.
