The Maple Vineyard sits up on a bench above the east side of Dry Creek Valley, and is farmed utilizing old world techniques by Tom and Tina Maple. These old Zinfandel vines (85+ years) are dry farmed resulting in wines of great depth and concentration. The beautiful Zinfandel clusters are sorted a minimum of three times to ensure that only the highest quality fruit is being used for this unique single-vineyard wine. Half of the wine was fermented in an open-top tank to soften the tannin structure. Only free-run wine was gently transferred to French and American oak barrels to age for 16 months. - This Estate Sauvignon Blanc is grown in the cool fog-influenced Russian River Valley. These cool nights and warm days give the wine rich tropical fruit flavors balanced by a minerality backbone of citrus fruits.
- Deep, dark garnet in color, the bright nose exhibits plums, raspberry and blackberries. The rich yet not overripe flavors of red-vine licorice, anise, spicy strawberry, and red currants are full-bodied and true to the varietal. The Petite Sirah in the blend contributes black pepper spice, racy acidity and firm structure, and gives this wine a rustic personality. The moderate oak contributes subtle vanilla and a smoky nuance..
- No component dominates and all work seamlessly together in an unctuous package. An interplay of textures and flavors, with stunning aromas of blackberry, dark fruits, dried fruit, black cherry, red fruits such as strawberries, spices, flowers, minerals, graphite, roasted herbs, baked dark bread and chocolate ganache are integrated and proportioned across a foundation of perfect mouth feel, cohesive acidity, and unctuous fruit.
- Juicy and ripe, with terrific, vivid blackberry cobbler, plum, huckleberry, licorice, spice and floral overtones. Offers great concentration and dense tannins that stay out of the way of the sandalwood, espresso and cedar details as they crescendo on the finish.
- Imagine pomegranate and strawberry braised with Provençale Herbs; a fresh ocean breeze with madrone, pine, and oak treas. Velvety and voluptuous softness, a ripe peach-like roundness and built on airy, sculptured tannin frame. This classy, complex, crowd-pleasing new-world blend excites all old world red-wine lovers.
- Sourced primarily from Biale’s estate vineyards in the Oak Knoll district. Round, plush, a gentle grip of perfectly ripe tannins, a spectrum of red and dark fruits – raspberries, cherries, blackberries, watermelon, bright vivid aromas, fine-grained texture, star anise, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, black and white pepper, cocoa, subtle nuanced oak. Age worthy, compelling, decadent: a beautifully proportioned Napa Valley Zinfandel. If cellared well, this wine will continue to improve for the next 3-5 years.
- Bold, complex and quite ripe, with black raspberry and smoky spice aromas and cherry, toasty sage and herb flavors that pack a slight burn on the finish. For fans of the style.
- Fragrant, fruit-packed and luxurious on the palate, the 2012 Old Kraft Vineyard Zinfandel is perhaps our favorite vintage - so far. Gentle tannins, rounded edges and an array of blackberry, black cherry, black tea, plum preserves, warm stones, shoe leather, and brown spice notes evolve in the glass and promise a bright and long future in the bottle.
- Texturally near perfect and brimming with fragrant dark fruit – blackberry, cherry, plum, ollalie berry compote, currant liqueur, clay, baked clay, fresh Provençale herbs, meatiness and minerals galore. This is a superb rendition of a classic Napa Valley red wine – showing all the attributes of the valley world renowned. Some years in the cellar will broaden the palate even further and add more grace notes to its already broad spectrum of aromas.
- The mature and old vines here produce a St. Helena/old-world style Zinfandel that is at its heart alluring, charming, feminine, cuisine compatible, and incredibly inviting to sip and savor. Stone fruit, cherry, dried cherry, apricot, dried strawberry, red vines, vanilla, oatmeal cookie, fine tannins, and stony mineral notes.
- Plush, with fine-grained tannins and a distinctive espresso note, revealing plenty of ripe blackberry, black cherry and plum flavors. Dried violet, cedar and toasted spice hints chime in on the finish.
- Pale color. Aromas of citrus- grapefruit, and white fruit. Nice weight and mouthfeel, with bright citrus and grass flavors and nice underlying acidity.

- Fine, silky tannins support a core of expressive dark red berries, flowers, mint and sweet spices, all of which meld together in an attractive, mid-weight Cabernet with tons of near term appeal. Sweet floral and spiced notes reappear on the finish, adding perfume and class.
- Wow, what a fantastic wine. Bursts open with scads of fine French oak, cedar and char, with a rôti quality riding high over the cherries, cassis and white chocolate. So good, it’s scary. Rich, long, powerful in cassis and cherry fruit, yet wonderfully firm and tannic, this wine is fabulous now.
- Some very appealing apple, Asian pear, mint, smoke and toast notes mark the nose of this even, medium-weight wine. It has fine fruit-to-acid balance and offers apple-peach flavors with a mild but evident butterscotch element. The tangy oak that’s present from the start shows most prominently on the spicy finish.
- This Sauvignon Blanc has a focused aromatic expression on the riper side of Sauvignon Blanc with grapefruit and guava, while also bringing forth an aromatic return reminiscent of fresh mountain honey. Bright in texture, it combines the fresh, underlying acidity to give length while the aromatic and mineral texture both add rhythm and depth.
