Van Ruiten Late Harvest Zinfandel

Van Ruiten Late Harvest Zinfandel

From fresh, fragrant fruit, wonderful tropical notes combine with bright citrus and mineral characters to create a deliciously flavorsome and refreshing Woop Woop Verdelho. Â Consistent with previous vintages, winemaker Ben Riggs has created a bright, aromatic wine, fruit-driven with crisp natural acidity, and well balanced palate. It will compliment a wide variety of foods, matching particularly well with seafood, salads or spicy Asian cuisine.

Winery/Brewery Info

Van Ruiten Family’s Lodi Winery is located Mid-way between the Sierra Foothills and San Francisco Bay Delta. The Lodi vineyards owned by the Van Ruiten Family profit from the ideal delta influenced climate (cool afternoon breeze) that produce ripe the full-flavored Zinfandels, that Lodi is now famous for. Before settlement, the Lodi area now known as the Lodi Appellation was often an inland sea after winter rains and spring snow melt. The resulting flood drainage and soil deposits surrounding Lodi left a rich soil that drains easily, producing one-of-a-kind harvests.
