Limpid, pale green color. Complex aromatic structure (roses and lilies) with a subtle and relatively low acidity, but extremely lively on the palate.
Sautejeau Muscadet
Winery/Brewery Info
A celebrated name in the Loire Valley, this estate at the turn of the 20th Century was the largest vineyard in the Nantes region. Dismantled after World War I, the Sautejeau family managed to rebuild it and bring it back to its former glory. Muscadet is fermented under controlled temperatures to preserve wine aromas. One racking after fermentation to eliminate the “gross lees” (mineral or vegetal matter) and only the “fine lees” are left.
