Mauro Tempranillo “VS”

Mauro Tempranillo “VS”

Bold, oaky aromas of coconut, cola and mocha come with a blackberry backing. Vibrancy and hard tannins push the palate, which brings chocolaty flavors, spice and mocha along with core berry. Licorice, toast and other black flavors drive an oaky, hard finish.

Winery/Brewery Info

Since 1980 Mauro has defined itself for producing wines with a potential for aging that show the identity of the terroir, the characteristics of the variety, and the personality of the winemaker, Mariano Garcia. The winery produces three wines: Mauro, Mauro VS, which has a longer aging period and made of the best grapes selected and sourced from two main parcels, and Terreus, which comes from one unique vineyard with vines over a century old. All are opulent, balanced, and elegant.
