Unfiltered and golden blonde in hue, it has a dense white foam. The hops display an intense expression and the fragrance is a blend of fruits, woods, spices, and floral notes.
Christian Arztner, whose great-grandfather, Pierre Hoffel, founded the Artzner brewery in Schiltigheim (on the outskirts of Strasbourg, Alsace) in 1882, had fun reviving the brand, following years of studying brewing seriously. His venture created happy visions in the imagination of the Strasbourgeous. To cut a long story short, Christian now has the beer brewed in the Black Forest, having been unable find a brewing premises in Alsace. What’s essential, however, is that product is of high quality and the brand has been revived.
