Dolcetto is known as the everyday wine of Piedmont. It has a bright ruby red hue with loads of fresh fruit flavors, paired with good acidity and soft tannins. Sweet, dazzlingly ripe cherry and fresh raspberry flavors. Fresh and complex with notes of violets that offers a delicate perfume, while touches of spices and white pepper follow on the finish.
Gagliardo Dolcetto D’Alba
This winemaking family goes back six generations in the area. The grapes grown on each single vineyard are all vinified separately, by hand and with small, high-quality yields. At Present the Gagliardo estate is composed of 30 hectares. This land is distributed in the zones of La Morra, Barolo, Serralunga and Monticello d’ Alba.
