ANU Cabernet Sauvignon is a limited production wine, with just 180 cases made in total. Consisting of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, this wine was aged for 17 months in French oak (70% new). According to Phil, this classic Cabernet Sauvignon shows, “….aromas of crushed black fruit, herbs, brown spice, and vanilla, leading to flavors of currant and blackberry.” Abundant tannins bring out a firm mouth-feel, and with decanting the ANU Cabernet Sauvignon softens considerably, leading to a silky finish. This wine will get even better with time in bottle.
