Lively ruby in appearance, Château Saintongey 2010 shows a delicate nose of ripe red fruits. Plump cherries and a touch of oak integrate with balanced tannins and end on a strong finish.

Winery/Brewery Info
The Château Saintongey vines are planted on 37 acres sat the top of the small “Haut Benauge” valley southeast of Bordeaux, opening onto the Château Haut Mondain heights. This region’s terroir is particular for its geological composition of heavy clays and limestone. The ancient vines (aged over 25 years) of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc have been cared for since 1993 by the Yung family, well-established as a winemaking family since 1886.
