Badia al Colle Chianti DOCG

This wonderful everyday Chianti is made entirely from the Sangiovese grape. It is an easy drinking wine with lovely notes deep cherries with a hint of almond on the nose. A core of ripe fruit flavors, lots of pretty bright berry, floral and violet aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with some fine tannins and a refreshing finish.

This well respected winery has been producing top Chianti wines for over 5 generations. Badia al Colle or “Abby on the Hill” is produced in Castillina in Chianti; the heart and soul of the Chianti Classico region, between Florence and Siena. The winery and the ancient abby this wine is named for have been in the family since the 1800’s.
