In 1743 The founder Mr. Jihei Kanoh, a lumber dealer, began the production of sake, he opened a direct sales store in Osakaka and registered the Hakutsuru name. It has then been exhibited as refined sake at the Paris World Exposition since 1900. The company even has a “Hakutsuru Fine Art Museum” .
