Grapevine California Trip

Hello fellow wine-o's.  What a great few weeks.  A trip to California with 3 Grapevine colleagues proved most educational as well entertaining.  We sampled Cowgirl Creamery cheese, Hog Island oysters, ribs, and Cartlidge & Browne wines in Pt. Reyes with Rich, our hilarious C&B rep.

Life doesn't get any better or so we thought.  The week kept over delivering with amazing tastings and visits with old friends at Schug, Truchard, Ehlers, Corturri, Highway 12, Luli, Hook and Ladder, Pellegrini, Merry Edwards, and Cannon Wines.

We made some new friends as well and look forward to introducing them to folks in the Carolinas this the fall.  After a Giants game we ended the week with a cookout at the home of Sara Floyd, MS and Jim Mead of Luli.  They were extremely gracious host and we hope to return the hospitality as they soon head to Sullivan Island, SC for vacation.
