Baby Poux (pronounced “baby poo”) Vineyard is named for owner Paul Champoux. It was the first block he planted after taking over the famous Mercer Ranch Vineyards. Somebody dubbed it “Baby Poux” and it stuck! This wine has a distinct supple quality, very rich in exuberant fruit. As this vineyard matures the wine gets still more intense and complex.
